Safety Product Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Act as the regional expert in personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety solutions, providing support to customers, sales teams, and supplier partners.

• Collaborate with the sales team to uncover new business opportunities, enhance current accounts, and drive growth within the safety category.

• Assess customer needs and propose effective PPE and safety solutions to enhance safety, compliance, and productivity.

• Direct product demonstrations, trials, conversions, and standardization efforts to ensure customer success.

• Provide technical product training and assist with the rollout of new products for both customers and internal teams.

• Work alongside supplier partners on training, product positioning, and strategic growth initiatives.

• Utilize CRM and business analytics tools to identify trends, discover opportunities, and manage key accounts strategically.

• Assist in regional business planning, marketing activities, and trade show participation to bolster SurfacePrep's presence in the safety market.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in industrial sales, safety, PPE, technical support, product management, or a similar field.

• Understanding of respiratory protection and industrial PPE applications.

• Familiarity with OSHA and ANSI standards is preferred.

• Excellent consultative selling and relationship-building abilities.

• Experience in providing technical recommendations and customer-facing solutions.

• Capability to train, influence, and collaborate effectively with customers, sales teams, and suppliers.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred; equivalent experience will be taken into account.
