Safety Product Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Act as the regional expert in PPE and safety solutions.

• Assist customers, sales teams, and supplier partners.

• Collaborate with sales to discover new business opportunities, enhance existing accounts, and promote growth in the safety category.

• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate PPE and safety solutions.

• Lead product demonstrations, trials, conversions, and standardization efforts.

• Provide technical product training and support for new product launches.

• Work together with supplier partners on training, product positioning, and strategic growth initiatives.

• Utilize CRM and business analytics tools to identify trends, reveal opportunities, and manage key accounts.

• Assist in regional business planning, marketing initiatives, and trade show events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in industrial sales, safety, PPE, technical support, product management, or a related area.

• Understanding of respiratory protection and industrial PPE applications.

• Familiarity with OSHA and ANSI standards is preferred.

• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building capabilities.

• Experience in providing technical recommendations and customer-oriented solutions.

• Capability to train, influence, and collaborate effectively with customers, sales teams, and suppliers.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
