Safety Manager – Data Center

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Execute all responsibilities of the Safety Representative.

• Deliver training and educational programs for Company personnel.

• Facilitate pre-job safety planning meetings to identify potential hazards and issues before the commencement of work.

• Conduct inspections of job sites to ensure compliance with the Company Safety Program and OSHA regulations.

• Develop emergency response plans for various projects.

• Organize basic first aid training for personnel on the job site.

• Investigate and assess incidents involving bodily injuries and property damages.

• Collaborate with subcontractors to implement project safety programs.

• Prepare and distribute regular summaries of accident reports.

• Update employees with information regarding changes or updates to safety requirements.

• Assist with weekly foremen’s meetings and monthly safety meetings for superintendents.

• Identify project management personnel who require support, training, or disciplinary action to adhere to Corporate Safety standards and objectives.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Desired safety certification includes CSP, ASP, CHST, OSHT, or CIH.

• Bachelor’s degree in safety or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety or a related field in either Data Centers / Mission-Critical facilities, or process-driven industrial or energy projects (power generation, oil & gas, chemical).

• Comprehensive understanding of OSHA Construction Regulations.

• Capability to assess construction activities concerning safety and loss control.

• Skill in recognizing and analyzing trends related to Company accidents.

• Ability to identify training needs and create safety training programs.

• Proficient in computer applications, such as Word and PowerPoint.

• Strong presentation abilities.

• Willingness to travel extensively.
