SAA Operations/Test Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Identify and comprehend customers’ current environments and align them with SailPoint agentic solutions.

• Leverage LLMs and agent tools to expedite analysis, drafting, and evaluation of options, subsequently validating suggestions with human insights.

• Manage AI-assisted migration pipelines and agent tools; prompt, guide, and re-execute agents as necessary.

• Troubleshoot failures, incomplete outputs, hallucinations, and configuration discrepancies.

• Evaluate LLM-generated analyses, designs, configurations, transforms/rules, and demo materials for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with customer needs.

• Conduct hands-on verification and targeted remediation in SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, covering sources, schemas, correlation, identity profiles, lifecycle states, transforms/rules, provisioning, demo data, and access catalog.

• Create SE-ready summaries, demo scripts, walkthrough notes, and issue lists.

• Communicate findings clearly to Sales Engineers and deal teams.

• Support Forward-Deployed Engineering with foundational implementations and proof-of-value projects.

• Analyze and document customer requirements, mapping them to SailPoint solutions.

• Collaborate with sales, solution engineering, product, professional services, and customer success teams.

• Utilize AI, LLMs, and agentic technologies for prompting, orchestrating agents, evaluating outputs, AI-assisted coding, and debugging.

• Develop and sustain agentic technology solutions, prompts, playbooks, and evaluation checks.

• Report product and pipeline defects, including reproduction details and suggested fixes.

• Enhance turnaround predictability for customer engagements.

• Complete product training and progressively manage, enhance, and expand AI tooling and migration processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of professional experience within an enterprise software company, systems integrator, or consulting firm.

• 3+ years of experience in software implementation or pre-sales activities.

• Proficiency in software development, implementation, and configuration.

• Outstanding communication skills.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities, including isolating root causes, verifying end-to-end fixes, and clearly conveying status updates.

• Working knowledge of web services, application servers, databases, virtualization, and directories.

• Familiarity with modern SaaS architecture.

• Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts.

• Willingness to work with imperfect customer extracts, ask clarifying questions, and deliver demo-ready results.

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Up to 15% travel may be required.

• Preferred: 3+ years of experience with Identity, Governance, and Access Management solutions.

• Preferred: Hands-on experience with SailPoint IIQ and/or SailPoint ISC (IdentityNow).

• Preferred: Experience with demo tenants, sample data seeding, customer POV/proof-of-concept environments, or SE enablement.

• Preferred: Experience in migration projects, including IIQ → ISC or similar IAM platform migrations.

• Preferred: Knowledge of SailPoint, Saviynt, RSA/Aveksa, One Identity, Oracle Identity Manager, and related products.

• Preferred: Experience with agentic coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Kiro, Google Antigravity, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex.

• Preferred: Background in security software or IT auditing.

• Preferred: Basic scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

• J2EE certification and/or CISSP certification is a plus.

• SailPoint Certified Engineer or Solution Architect certification is a plus and is expected within 12 months of hiring.
