This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee the administration of EVERSANA’s Commercial Commission Plan, encompassing calculations, reviews, approvals, and payments.

• Manage and operate the CaptivateIQ incentive compensation platform, including its maintenance, testing, enhancements, and optimization.

• Collaborate with Commercial Leadership, Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, and Information Technology regarding commission administration and compensation governance.

• Act as the main point of contact for commission inquiries, investigating account and opportunity histories, resolving discrepancies, and handling escalations.

• Validate the data utilized in commission calculations, including Salesforce opportunity records, financial data, and commercial information.

• Create and sustain dashboards, metrics, and management reporting for commission administration, forecasting, and decision-making in Commercial Operations.

• Keep process documentation, operational controls, approval records, and materials necessary for audit readiness.

• Analyze compensation, sales, revenue, and performance data to discover trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Enhance the efficiency and scalability of commission administration through process redesign, automation, and technological improvements.

• Oversee external vendors and technology partners that support incentive compensation and Commercial Operations systems.

• Provide guidance to senior leadership on compensation operations, risks, system requirements, and future functional development.

• Manage both direct and indirect reports, as necessary.

• Contribute to the strategy, governance, data stewardship, reporting, forecasting, and operational excellence of Commercial Operations.

• Interview, select, supervise, and mentor department staff while communicating policies and administering personnel actions.

• Travel nationally 3–5 times a year.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, data analytics, information systems, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be taken into account.

• Proven experience in commission administration, incentive compensation, sales compensation, commercial operations, revenue operations, finance operations, or a similar function.

• In-depth understanding of sales, revenue, and financial processes, including revenue recognition and incentive compensation.

• Capability to identify, investigate, and resolve complex operational and data-related challenges.

• Proficiency in managing sensitive, high-visibility stakeholder situations with diplomacy and sound judgment.

• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.

• Aptitude for interpreting, reconciling, and validating data from multiple systems.

• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, including reporting, data quality management, and process governance.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and a strong overall system aptitude.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in developing reports, dashboards, metrics, or business insights.

• Preferred: experience with CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Varicent, Spiff, QuotaPath, or other comparable incentive compensation platforms.

• Preferred: experience supporting commission plans in commercial, sales, revenue operations, or finance settings.

• Preferred: knowledge of compensation plan design, commission structures, and incentive compensation governance.

• Preferred: experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, consulting, CRO, or B2B commercialization services.

• Preferred: previous experience in people leadership or in developing a commission administration or compensation operations function.

• Ability to meet office-based physical requirements, which include standing or sitting for extended periods and occasionally lifting/moving up to 25 pounds.
