Ruminants Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide support to the ruminant and dairy sector by selling directly to consumers or business buyers, or indirectly through various sales channels.

• Engage in both face-to-face and remote sales interactions with new and existing clients.

• Assess customer requirements and recommend suitable products, services, and solutions.

• Identify new customer prospects and nurture relationships with current clients.

• Carry out market research, pricing strategies, sales, and merchandising activities under guidance.

• Observe customer and competitor behavior along with industry trends.

• Foster, expand, and diversify relationships with targeted customers.

• Share positive information regarding the organization and its offerings.

• Independently resolve moderately complex issues and escalate more intricate problems as necessary.

• Offer technical assistance related to Diamond V postbiotic feed additives for animal health, performance, and preharvest food safety.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

• At least two years of sales experience in ruminant nutrition, animal health, or a related area.

• Background in the ruminants, dairy sector, feed, animal health, or animal nutrition, emphasizing animal nutrition optimization, health, or performance.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Valid driver's license in good standing.

• Preferred: at least six years of sales experience in animal nutrition, feed, animal health, additives, or supplements.

• Preferred: experience in technical sales and the capability to provide technical support to dairies, nutritionists, and veterinarians.

• Preferred: sales experience in animal feed, animal health, additives, and supplements.
