Romanian Linguist Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Execute various linguistic project activities such as categorization, annotation, correction, transcription, evaluation, conversational interactions, voice recording, content creation, localization, and validation.

• Assess audio, video, images, sentences, or words for accuracy.

• Perform tasks remotely via an online platform that is accessible 24/7.

• Complete mandatory qualification assessments following the submission of your application.

• Provide documentation or information as reasonably requested to verify your identity and credentials when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Languages, Literature, or a related discipline.

• Native or near-native proficiency in Romanian.

• Proficient in English, with excellent listening and writing capabilities.

• Outstanding spelling skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong understanding of linguistic theory, grammar, and language structure.

• Excellent writing, editing, and communication abilities.

• Basic computer literacy.

• A computer with a minimum of 4GB RAM.

• Access to a microphone and webcam.

• Operating on Windows 10 or higher, or macOS 13 Ventura or higher.

• Ensure all operating system updates are installed and supported by the vendor.

• Reliable internet connection.

• Headphones for audio tasks.

• Secure internet location safeguarded by a strong password.

• A mobile phone running Android OS for audio-collection projects.

• Note that tablets and iOS devices are not supported.

• Completion of mandatory tests to evaluate qualifications after application submission.
