This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Design, uphold, and implement test plans, test cases, and validation protocols.
• Assess functionality across warehouse execution workflows, robotic fleet operations, inventory movement, and fulfillment processes.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Confirm system behavior under standard operating conditions and exceptional scenarios.
• Record test outcomes, defects, and quality risks.
• Create and execute simulation scenarios that replicate real-world warehouse operations.
• Evaluate software performance during high order volumes, peak operational times, robotic congestion, equipment malfunctions, network disruptions, resource contention, and inventory anomalies.
• Aid in maintaining digital twin environments that represent customer deployments.
• Develop reusable operational test scenarios for release validation.
• Set up and maintain emulated warehouse environments.
• Validate integrations with Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Warehouse Execution Systems (WES), barcode scanners, label printers, PLC-controlled equipment, conveyor systems, and third-party APIs.
• Replicate customer-reported issues using simulation and emulation environments.
• Create automated test suites for APIs, workflows, integrations, and regression testing.
• Broaden automated coverage across warehouse and robotics applications.
• Incorporate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Sustain test frameworks and automation infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews for automated test creation.
• Identify, document, and monitor software defects.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to replicate and diagnose issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents.
• Verify defect resolutions and regression effects.
• Provide quality evaluations for release readiness.
• Engage in release certification activities.
• Execute operational acceptance testing.
• Evaluate release risk and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Validate customer-specific configurations prior to deployment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Over 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, or systems validation.
• Strong expertise in Java or Kotlin.
• Familiarity with Flutter/Dart is also a plus.
• Experience in testing distributed software systems.
• Proficiency in API and integration testing.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Capability to comprehend complex operational workflows.
