
Roadside Assistance Territory Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors to ensure that the delivery of Roadside Assistance meets or surpasses established Quality Standards.
• Collect information and documentation to support management in assessing eligibility for participation in Roadside Assistance.
• Facilitate or assist in the onboarding process for successful candidates in Roadside Assistance.
• Safeguard the AAA brand by overseeing logo usage and ensuring compliance throughout all relationships.
• Offer facilities guidance to enhance efficiency and minimize costs.
• Advocate for and support the Roadside Assistance, AAR, and Battery programs.
• Conduct training sessions on procedures and program standards.
• Encourage and promote AAA equipment programs within designated facilities.
• Investigate and resolve member complaints in collaboration with the Member Relations Department.
• Inspect vehicles, facilities, and equipment as necessary to address member concerns.
• Recruit Roadside Assistance facilities to effectively service the assigned region.
• Respond to inquiries from prospective facilities and perform equipment evaluations.
• Analyze performance deficiencies and service challenges, reporting findings to management.
• Investigate and resolve billing disputes with contracted facilities.
• Manage projects with minimal supervision while contributing to the development of new or improved programs.
• Attend towing association meetings and trade shows.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree; equivalent experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in account or vendor management, business consultation, or a business ownership role; or 8+ years’ experience in a dispatch position; or 5+ years’ experience in a fleet supervisory role that involves collaboration with vendors, service providers, or drivers.
• Proficient in complaint handling and arbitration techniques.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Candidate must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the designated territory.
• Willingness to travel frequently throughout the designated territory in central Connecticut.
