This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans that align with customer objectives and PIC profit targets.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the Irish market and the existing customer portfolio.
• Enhance sustainable revenue and profitability across designated accounts and regions.
• Oversee negotiations, renewals, and the continuous management of customer contracts.
• Establish trusted, long-term relationships with key clients and influential figures within the industry.
• Assist customers in realizing the complete benefits of genetic enhancement through a consultative and insight-driven approach.
• Prepare and oversee budgets, forecasts, and commercial strategies.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Technical Services, Genetic Services, and Finance teams.
• Contribute to the commercial strategy for Northern Europe and assist the Commercial Director with key initiatives.
• Travel frequently within Ireland, with occasional international trips.
• Report directly to the Commercial Director for Northern Europe.
• Demonstrated success in B2B sales, key account management, or commercial relationship management within the pork sector.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience in account growth, contract negotiation, and management.
• Ability to establish credibility and influence customers and stakeholders at various levels.
• A consultative mindset and a desire to understand customer challenges, translating insights into effective commercial solutions.
• Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and utilizing data to inform decision-making.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing abilities.
• Capable of working independently, managing shifting priorities, and fulfilling commitments across a geographically diverse customer base.
• Confidence in collaborating across functions, ideally within a matrix organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Comfortable and experienced in a remote working environment.
• Ability to excel as a self-starter and work autonomously.
• Must reside in and possess the right to work in Ireland.
