Risk Solutions Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Perform technical evaluations and loss assessments for potential or current policyholders.

• Identify and assess risks and control measures.

• Provide consultative or technical support to policyholders.

• Conduct field surveys for prospective and existing policyholders and prepare reports for underwriting purposes.

• Execute loss analysis.

• Design and implement impactful service solutions.

• Generate and monitor key recommendations.

• Build strong relationships with underwriting and agency partners to foster ongoing collaboration.

• Engage in underwriting pipeline, new business, and renewal meetings to offer Risk Solutions insights on exposures and controls.

• Articulate ideas or positions effectively to garner support, agreement, and commitment.

• Deliver high-quality survey and service deliverables.

• Uphold productivity and timelines.

• Innovate and implement strategies for quality and efficiency improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Risk Solutions/Loss Control field experience with a national or regional insurance carrier in commercial lines.

• A B.S. degree is preferred in a related discipline such as health and safety, science, engineering, or equivalent.

• Self-motivated individual with a proven track record of initiative; capable of working independently with little guidance.

• Strong to exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Professional loss control certification is preferred, including CSP, CFPS, CIH, PE, CPCU, ARM.

• Strong to exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proven project management skills.

• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple projects, tasks, or assignments.

• Results-oriented mindset.

• Proficient in using personal computers and standard office equipment.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods.

• Capacity to navigate through customer buildings and facilities.

• Ability to climb ladders to various heights while maintaining balance during work tasks.
