Risk Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations of the Third-Party Risk Management program.

• Organize and manage risk assessments and due diligence for both new and existing vendors.

• Evaluate vendor performance, adherence to contracts, and overall risk posture.

• Maintain the vendor management system, which includes vendor inventory, risk ratings, and the documentation repository.

• Assist managers in ensuring that business continuity plans are up-to-date and accurate.

• Support the updates and documentation of key processes and their dependencies for BCP.

• Direct and coordinate business continuity testing at the department level.

• Monitor the completion of updates, testing, and related documentation.

• Manage the business continuity management system.

• Organize and oversee the organization’s security awareness program.

• Administer annual training and targeted educational initiatives.

• Track completion metrics and provide reports on effectiveness.

• Provide support to Security Officers.

• Assist risk managers in maintaining the program’s infrastructure.

• Facilitate risk administration reporting and training sessions.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support team and organizational objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in risk administration within a financial institution.

• Background in vendor management or third-party risk management, as well as business continuity.

• Knowledge of banking regulations and frameworks related to risk management.

• At least 3 years of experience in the banking sector.

• Capability to interpret regulations and legal requirements.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• In-depth understanding of banking risks.

• Active participation in all mandated BSA training.
