This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Deliver risk mitigation services to a diverse array of clients.

• Engage in the creation and execution of risk control service plans for both Sedgwick and its clients.

• Involve yourself in significant projects that necessitate collaboration with multiple analysts.

• Implement risk mitigation techniques, protocols, and initiatives.

• Act as a point of contact between Sedgwick team members and clients.

• Examine workplaces and job sites to recognize and document violations of safety laws and potential hazards.

• Formulate risk mitigation programs and protocols, which include policies, standards, procedures, strategies for risk reduction, training, and vendor applications.

• Function as a local representative for vendors and other stakeholders.

• Deliver loss reports, presentations, analyses, interpretations, guidance, and counsel effectively.

• Stay informed about and comply with company policies, directives, and procedures.

• Contribute to new business initiatives, product development, and client retention efforts.

• Engage in local initiatives that promote the profession.

• Assist in quality assurance programs.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be located in Richmond, VA.

• A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Safety, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred.

• Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in risk services or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Experience with public entities, insurance, or risk pooling is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in conducting site safety audits.

• Capability to carry out safety audits in construction and manufacturing environments.

• GSP, CSP, ARM, PRC, or OHST certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with federal, state, and local safety regulations.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.
