Reverse Exchange Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Support Reverse Exchange Officers in the initiation, management, and conclusion of 1031 tax-deferred exchanges.

• Gain expertise in 1031 regulations and respond to customer inquiries.

• Manage incoming inquiry calls.

• Evaluate purchase agreements and title reports.

• Draft exchange documentation for the closing of relinquished and replacement properties, as well as for parking transactions.

• Adhere to company protocols and maintain compliance with Accounting Policy.

• Track time constraints and closing schedules.

• Establish and dissolve LLCs across all 50 states.

• Oversee accounting for exchange files.

• Ensure timely management of exchange processes.

• Review estimated closing statements for final approval.

• Manage the acceptance and distribution of funds in line with 1031 regulations.

• Gather fee income and obtain final signed documents.

• Address and resolve customer issues.

• Follow up with current and prospective clients to enhance business opportunities.

• Collaborate with exchange officers, managers, and sales representatives to foster business development.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by the exchange officer.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent qualification.

• 1-3 years of experience in an administrative role.

• Background in real estate or law, such as an escrow officer or assistant, is preferred but not mandatory.

• Basic understanding of, or a readiness to learn, essential concepts, practices, and procedures relevant to the department/field.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Detail-oriented approach to tasks.

• Capacity to build effective working relationships with team members.
