This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Process patient insurance details during the patient intake procedure.
• Timely and accurate submission of insurance claims.
• Collect payments for any outstanding balances owed by patients.
• Perform revenue operations tasks related to medical billing, collections, or patient access.
• Communicate with insurance payers regarding patient coverage and reimbursement for dialysis services.
• Review and submit requests for system setup to ensure that center and payer information is integrated into the billing system.
• Address communications from payers efficiently.
• Collaborate with revenue operations teams to uphold smooth processes.
• Partner with insurance counselors, social workers, and facility administrators.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and continuous improvement.
• Keep patient account information current and accurate.
• Ensure confidentiality of both company and patient information.
• Participate in team meetings, phone conferences, and training sessions as needed.
• Be available to work overtime when required.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Competence in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience in Healthcare Credits or Revenue Cycle Management.
• Familiarity or experience with various healthcare insurance payers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to adapt swiftly and manage stress effectively.
• Skills in relationship-building.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in line with HIPAA regulations and DaVita policies.
• Readiness to work overtime when necessary.
• Willingness to attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training sessions as required.
