Revenue Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Manage patient insurance details throughout the intake process.

• Accurately submit insurance claims in a timely manner.

• Collect payments for any outstanding patient balances.

• Execute revenue operations tasks associated with medical insurance billing, collections, or patient access.

• Communicate with insurance providers to confirm coverage and facilitate prompt reimbursement for dialysis services.

• Review and submit requests for system setup related to center and payer information.

• Address communications from payers.

• Collaborate with revenue operations teams.

• Work alongside insurance counselors, social workers, and facility administrators.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and changes.

• Keep patient account information up to date.

• Ensure the confidentiality of both company and patient information.

• Participate in team meetings, phone conferences, and training sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Basic proficiency in computer skills.

• Competence in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Experience in Healthcare Credits or Revenue Cycle Management.

• Familiarity or experience with various healthcare insurance payers.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

• Capacity to adapt swiftly and manage stress effectively.

• Skills in building relationships.

• Willingness to work overtime as required.

• Ability to uphold confidentiality in line with HIPAA regulations and DaVita policies.
