This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage billing, collections, and cash posting activities within the revenue cycle.

• Offer daily support and guidance to achieve financial-health KPIs.

• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to formulate strategic plans aimed at operational efficiency.

• Work alongside cross-functional departments to enhance collection potential.

• Oversee and develop both on-site and off-site personnel.

• Deliver effective accounts receivable services to member clients.

• Lead a team of billers and provide revenue cycle management services to OBS clients.

• Handle daily professional billing operations ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.

• Ensure adherence to department protocols, as well as federal and state regulations, payer guidelines, and deadlines, including end-of-month close.

• Address claim and technical issues to boost revenue.

• Monitor national payer bulletins and communicate workflow impacts to clients, teams, and technical analysts.

• Engage with customers to build relationships that facilitate the resolution of transactions and issues.

• Recruit, develop, inspire, coach, train, and lead staff members.

• Oversee personnel, systems, and client-related matters.

• Mentor staff in problem-solving, communication, conflict resolution, and career growth.

• Execute quality reviews based on established metrics and ensure staff possess adequate information and training.

• Navigate difficult conversations with emotional intelligence.

• Coordinate multiple interrelated projects towards achieving organizational objectives.

• Establish rapport and maintain communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Travel for on-site Go Live support as required, up to 12–15% nationally.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in healthcare or healthcare IT.

• At least 5 years of experience in PB/revenue cycle billing and coding.

• A minimum of 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a remote setting.

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• A bachelor's or associate degree in business or a related field is highly preferred.

• Previous experience in FQHC/RHC is preferred.

• Experience with payor portals is necessary.

• Familiarity with Acute Care EHR software, including EPIC and PB, is required.

• Experience in revenue cycle management within physician offices or medical practices, covering coding, charge capture, time of service collections, insurance eligibility and benefits verification, claims submission and management, and accounts receivable management.

• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and/or HCPCS coding systems, as well as CMS-1500 and UB-04 claim forms.

• Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, state laws, HIPAA, and regulations related to healthcare billing and collections.

• Strong analytical skills with high-level research and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proven experience in creating, analyzing, and clarifying complex reports.

• Proficiency in MS Suite, Visio, and advanced Excel.

• Capability to quickly learn new applications.

• Knowledge of Medicare Billing Systems (DDE, Ability Ease) is preferred.

• Exceptional written, verbal, listening, and business communication skills.

• Willingness and capability to work overtime as needed.

• Must be open to travel when required.

• Must possess legal authorization to work permanently in the United States; no employment visa sponsorship is available.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently from a home office.

• Access to high-speed internet service.

• A distraction-free work environment.

• Must be able to participate on camera for all virtual meetings.

• Proficiency in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English.
