Revenue Manager – Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the month-end and year-end closing processes related to revenue recognition.

• Ensure that revenue-related accounting and reporting is performed accurately, promptly, and in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

• Conduct reconciliations for key revenue accounts, investigate any discrepancies, and drive issues towards resolution.

• Prepare and review journal entries associated with revenue, including analysis of underlying factors and supporting documentation.

• Collaborate with the Corporate Controller and CFO on financial accounting policies, procedures, revenue recognition, and internal controls.

• Work alongside Shared Services General Accounting to maintain consistent coding and accurate journal-entry activities across the organization.

• Assist in migrating new acquisitions onto the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system, with a focus on revenue accounts, deferred/unbilled revenue, and project setup.

• Conduct technical accounting reviews of contracts in line with ASC 606 guidance for complex revenue contracts and transactions.

• Review both standard and non-standard new sales contracts, identifying multiple performance obligations and ensuring accurate revenue recognition.

• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Delivery, and Legal teams to enhance revenue operations from contract creation to cash collection, including process and systems automation.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent is preferred.

• At least 8–10 years of progressive experience in revenue accounting and financial management, ideally within the enterprise software and/or SaaS industry.

• Strong grasp of ASC 606 principles and U.S. GAAP.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Proficiency in large ERP systems is essential; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is advantageous.

• Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, along with a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Ability to manage workload efficiently and excel in a fast-paced environment.
