Revenue Cycle Systems Resource – Payor Setup Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with accounts receivable activities under the guidance of the RC Systems Resource Lead.

• Improve revenue-cycle and accounts-receivable policies and procedures for agencies.

• Support agencies in adhering to accounting policies, procedures, and ensure accurate reporting processes.

• Oversee internal controls and ensure compliance with established protocols.

• Collaborate with RC Portfolio Resources to track accounts receivable and formulate action plans.

• Provide in-depth knowledge of software systems utilized in home health, hospice, and home care industries.

• Conduct training sessions for staff on software systems and operational processes.

• Create and utilize software reports to analyze accounts-receivable metrics and trends.

• Supervise system workflows and notify the relevant organizational resources as needed.

• Balance responsibilities between service-center initiatives and support for the field.

• Direct and resolve claim and EMR issues utilizing ticketing software.

• Oversee payor configurations and updates related to acquisitions, branch expansions, startups, and new contracts.

• Manage access to payor portals and clearinghouses.

• Participate in workshops and seminars to remain informed in the home health and hospice sectors and uphold professional credentials.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of accounts receivable experience within Home Health and Hospice sectors.

• Background in assisting, training, and supporting business office managers across multiple locations is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Homecare Homebase and Waystar platforms is preferred.
