
Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst – Epic Referrals Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Implement, modify, test, and manage application modules related to the revenue cycle system.
• Develop, test, and sustain Epic Revenue Cycle modules and applications, including Claims Manager, billing systems, interfaces, and associated processes.
• Collaborate with vendors, IT staff, application analysts, management, and end users to address functionality and design inquiries.
• Evaluate end-user requirements and propose and document system or procedural modifications.
• Create standard, customized, ad hoc, and application report templates.
• Execute analytical tasks, documentation, testing, final analysis, team testing, and integrated testing.
• Identify system requirements and conduct comparative analysis of system design against user needs.
• Develop plans for minor projects and assist in project planning.
• Maintain system parameter and reference tables, enhancement logs, and related documentation.
• Act as the primary contact for revenue cycle end-user system issues.
• Research, document, and facilitate the resolution of issues while providing ongoing application support.
• Review, research, test, and facilitate system updates and conduct user maintenance across multiple systems.
• Assist in the development and testing of third-party billing charge files and master files.
• Investigate and utilize third-party software to create programming logic that supports operational processes.
• Create reference materials and assist with training documentation.
• Provide 24/7 environment support and engage in on-call responsibilities.
• Comply with and enforce the Carle Foundation's administrative and departmental policies and procedures.
• Epic Certification to be obtained within 2 months.
• Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Experience in revenue cycle operations.
• Must possess Epic Referrals experience.
• General understanding of CPT, ICD codes, HCPCS, and HIPAA Transaction Code Sets.
• Capability to provide support in 24/7 environments.
• Willingness to participate in on-call responsibilities, including early morning and evening shifts.
• Availability for occasional weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
• $5,000 sign-on bonus.
