Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst – EPIC PB, Build and Configuration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Implement, modify, test, and manage revenue cycle system modules and applications.

• Develop, test, and sustain Epic Revenue Cycle modules, Claims Manager, billing systems, interfaces, and associated processes.

• Act as a liaison between vendors, IT staff, application analysts, management, and end users.

• Evaluate end-user requirements and suggest and document system or procedural enhancements.

• Create standard, customized, ad hoc, and application report templates.

• Conduct analytical tasks, documentation, testing, and final analysis to ensure system effectiveness.

• Execute team and integrated testing for billing system functionality and interfaces.

• Formulate project plans for smaller projects.

• Compare system designs against user requirements.

• Maintain system parameters and reference tables, enhancement logs, and related documentation.

• Serve as the primary contact for revenue cycle end-user system issues.

• Investigate, document, and facilitate the resolution of issues.

• Review, research, test, and enable system updates and user maintenance.

• Coordinate and engage in unit and integrated application testing.

• Assist with the development and testing of third-party billing charge-file and master-file systems.

• Research and utilize third-party software to create programming logic that supports operational processes.

• Draft reference materials and aid in creating training documentation.

• Provide support for 24 x 7 environments and participate in on-call coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess EPIC PB build and configuration experience.

• Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience in revenue cycle operations.

• Epic Certification to be obtained within 2 months.

• Extensive knowledge of revenue cycle billing system modules.

• In-depth understanding of project planning.

• General knowledge of CPT, ICD codes, HCPCS, and HIPAA Transaction Code Sets.

• Capability to support 24 x 7 environments and engage in on-call duties.

• Availability for occasional weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities.

• Ability to work Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
