
Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst β Charge Router, Application Support, Build Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
β’ Implement, modify, test, and manage revenue cycle system applications.
β’ Develop, test, and sustain Epic Revenue Cycle modules, Claims Manager System, billing systems, interfaces, and associated processes.
β’ Collaborate with vendors, IT staff, application analysts, management, and end users.
β’ Evaluate end-user requirements and suggest as well as document system or procedural modifications.
β’ Create standard, customized, and ad hoc application reports along with report templates.
β’ Conduct analytical tasks, documentation, testing, and final analysis to ensure job and system effectiveness.
β’ Execute team and integrated testing for billing system functionality and interfaces.
β’ Formulate plans for small projects and align system designs with user requirements.
β’ Maintain system parameters, reference tables, enhancement logs, and related records.
β’ Act as the primary point of contact for revenue cycle end-user system inquiries.
β’ Investigate, document, and facilitate issue resolution while offering ongoing application support.
β’ Review, research, test, and implement system updates and user maintenance across various systems.
β’ Assist in the development and testing of third-party billing charge-file and master-file systems.
β’ Explore and utilize third-party software to develop programming logic that supports operational processes.
β’ Prepare reference materials and assist in creating training documentation.
β’ Provide support in a 24 x 7 environment and engage in on-call responsibilities.
β’ Associate's Degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Finance, or Accounting.
β’ Epic Certification required within 2 months.
β’ Experience in the revenue cycle.
β’ Must possess application support and build experience.
β’ Extensive knowledge of revenue cycle billing system modules.
β’ Strong understanding of project planning.
β’ General knowledge of CPT, ICD codes, HCPCS, and HIPAA Transaction Code Sets.
β’ Capability to support 24 x 7 environments.
β’ Willingness to participate in occasional on-call, early morning, and evening support.
β’ Availability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with occasional weekend and holiday obligations.
