Revenue Cycle Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute moderate to complex recurring and/or daily functions and processes within the Revenue Cycle.

• Reconcile and record all payments received while identifying discrepancies.

• Analyze payment issues to ensure timely posting of transactions.

• Manage invoices and oversee large inventories.

• Process electronic requests across multiple systems and platforms.

• Accurately complete and/or monitor organizational processes in compliance with policies and regulations, ensuring timely execution.

• Track processes and prepare management reports detailing departmental quality and actions taken.

• Implement procedural changes aimed at enhancing performance and efficiency.

• Resolve minor errors and manage limited-risk or limited-complexity exceptions.

• Assist in onboarding and training new hires; act as a mentor for Specialists.

• Collaborate with Specialists and Seniors to exchange knowledge, resources, and work-execution tips.

• Post payments to recovery accounts and reconcile them with bank transactions.

• Coordinate with Accounts Payable for necessary refunds.

• Reconcile monthly bank statements with the cash-posting database.

• Post adjustment transactions to collection and client systems.

• Execute cash application functions in accordance with corporate and client requirements.

• Review online systems to identify claim payments, ensuring accurate application of payments and adjustments.

• Assist in the determination of refund adjudication.

• Prepare and document financial transactions for assigned accounts.

• Ensure daily deposit reconciliation and maintain daily/monthly audit reporting.

• Research and distribute payments that lack invoice numbers or service dates.

• Identify the correct claims for payments and apply them accurately.

• Adhere to compliance with recovery laws and state cash-processing requirements.

• Meet departmental productivity and quality targets, reporting system, productivity, or quality issues to management.

• Gather data, analyze problems, evaluate options, and implement solutions effectively.

• Support audit activities and assume additional responsibilities as required.

• Assess the needs of clients, customers, and partners; provide assistance and resolve issues as they arise.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience and/or an Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or over 3 years of experience in Accounting/Finance is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and system databases.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Exceptional attention to detail and precision.

• Familiarity with industry-based standards.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Capability to provide a dedicated and secure work environment.
