Return To Service Inspector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Verify compliance for the return-to-service of aircraft.

• Update and ensure the precision of aircraft maintenance tracking databases.

• Support the Maintenance Control and Quality Departments through reviews and audits.

• Guarantee that maintenance documentation is properly organized, precise, and easily accessible.

• Assist the Quality Manager with paperwork audits, internal compliance oversight, documentation assessments, and associated quality assurance tasks.

• Collaborate with maintenance vendors to confirm that their work and documentation are complete.

• Execute return-to-service responsibilities promptly to aid in minimizing work order durations.

• Develop, modify, and maintain Maintenance Control forms along with other quality-related documents and procedures to ensure accuracy, usability, and regulatory adherence.

• Perform additional related tasks that support the Quality department.

⛳️ Requirements

• Trained in Auditing, Risk Assessment, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action, and Human Factors.

• A valid FAA Mechanic Certificate with airframe and powerplant ratings is mandatory.

• Maintain safety-sensitive employee status under the company’s FAA-approved Drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows Office Suite/Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Capability to effectively utilize the Internet.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capacity to sit, stand, bend, or kneel for prolonged periods.

• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 15% of the time.
