Retirement Plan Distribution Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the entire process of retirement plan distribution and loan requests.

• Assess documentation for accuracy and completeness.

• Prepare distribution and loan packages, ensuring vesting verification for applicable plans.

• Detect loan defaults and Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs).

• Liaise with participants, plan sponsors, financial advisors, and recordkeepers concerning requests and status updates.

• Investigate and resolve inquiries from participants and clients.

• Keep precise records and update workflows within internal systems.

• Act as a backup for participant service phone support.

• Provide assistance with data entry and other operational support tasks as required.

• Maintain knowledge of retirement plan distribution and loan provisions.

• Obtain industry certifications, including NIPA's Distribution Administrator and Loan Administrator programs.

• Remain informed about cybersecurity, compliance, and company procedures.

• Develop working relationships with plan sponsors, vendors, and team members.

• Carry out other related duties as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of professional experience in financial services, benefits administration, insurance, or a similar detail-oriented operations role.

• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Strong time-management and prioritization abilities.

• Experience with PensionPro, Corbel, or retirement plan administration is advantageous.

• Must reside in the USA and be authorized to work for any US employer.

• Availability to work a 40-hour week, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
