Retention Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main contact and relationship manager for designated client accounts.

• Oversee the entire email production process, from the initial ideation handoff to design, email creation, scheduling, segmentation, and deployment.

• Assist in developing the logic for email and SMS campaigns as well as automation processes.

• Manage and guide the Email + SMS account strategy, focusing on segmentation, list growth, and A/B testing.

• Conduct and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly email reports, providing insights and recommendations.

• Collaborate closely with the creative team to identify trends, share insights, and propose strategies.

• Coordinate projects related to new email triggers, transactional emails, and special initiatives.

• Keep abreast of the latest email and SMS best practices and industry standards.

• Suggest innovative approaches and technologies to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Report directly to the Head of Strategy.

• Collaborate with design and copy teams while helping to manage a team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preference for a bachelor's degree.

• Minimum of two years of experience in email marketing.

• At least one year of experience in managing Email + SMS accounts and providing strategic direction.

• Practical experience with Klaviyo, Postscript, or Attentive.

• Experience in segmenting email and SMS lists.

• Background in client relationship management.

• Experience in creating marketing assets and collaborating with creative and e-commerce teams.

• Strong communication and analytical skills.

• Proactive problem-solving attitude, keen attention to detail, and impeccable execution of assigned tasks.

• Capacity to think strategically, work independently, and excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across cross-functional teams.

• Availability to work standard business hours (9:00 am–5:00 pm) in ET, CT, MT, or PT time zones.
