This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise the daily repair and maintenance of retail store facilities, encompassing HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, lighting, flooring, and fixtures.
• Ensure that repairs are executed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with company standards.
• Organize routine and proactive maintenance schedules.
• Manage and oversee external contractors and service providers.
• Conduct store inspections to assess maintenance requirements.
• Oversee planned and reactive repair and maintenance expenditures.
• Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with third-party service providers.
• Monitor expenses and track costs related to repairs and maintenance.
• Communicate significant project proposals for approval and evaluate project scopes.
• Ensure warranty work is directed to the appropriate vendors and that credit processes are effectively communicated across functions.
• Support the vendor and store communications ticketing system while adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Report on trends and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies.
• Collaborate with the Repairs & Maintenance and Retail Development teams on efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, ADA compliance, building codes, and company standards.
• Provide training, guidance, and feedback to store teams regarding operational standards.
• Lead and engage in Laguna U sessions as required.
• Ensure that store teams have the essential tools and resources.
• Prevent equipment malfunctions and uphold a safe, clean environment for customers.
• Respond swiftly to urgent repair requests.
• Promote excellence in service delivery and enhance positive shopping experiences.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• An Associate’s degree or higher in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in facilities maintenance, repair management, or retail operations.
• Background in retail environments with multi-location operations is preferred.
• Prior experience managing a team, including contractors, vendors, and technicians.
• Strong understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs.
• Experience with budgeting, cost control, and managing maintenance projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
• Ability to multitask and handle competing priorities in a dynamic retail environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with store managers, staff, and external vendors.
• Proficient in Google Suite and facilities management software(s).
• May require occasional evening or weekend work.
• Ability to travel between multiple retail locations may be necessary.
