This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Lead a team of Screening Solutions Specialists in a specific geographic area.
• Advocate for Abbott Cancer Diagnostics products to physicians, integrated delivery networks, multi-specialty clinics, and various healthcare providers.
• Recruit, train, mentor, guide, and manage team members’ performance.
• Directly market Abbott Cancer Diagnostics products.
• Accompany direct reports to provide observation, training, and coaching.
• Oversee area sales objectives and report progress to management.
• Establish communication channels and team operational frameworks.
• Ensure the sales force adheres to quality, regulatory, and company standards.
• Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders and decision-makers.
• Gather customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence, sharing findings with leadership and peers.
• Present product technology and clinical advantages relevant to customers.
• Ensure efficient utilization of sales processes, approved marketing, and promotional materials.
• Coordinate technical, clinical, and business resources to create competitive advantages and customer solutions.
• Manage unoccupied territories and recruit staff for vacant positions.
• Define team vision, encourage high performance, and lead with integrity, accountability, and courage.
• Delegate tasks, evaluate performance, and offer feedback and training opportunities.
• Forecast and meet quarterly and annual sales objectives.
• Uphold the company’s mission and values while complying with Quality Management System policies.
• Exemplify inclusion-minded behaviors.
• Maintain consistent and dependable attendance while adhering to the designated schedule.
• Work evenings and/or weekends as necessary.
• Utilize mobile devices, tablets, or computers and type for approximately 60% of a typical workday.
• Travel approximately 60% of working time away from the primary work location, which may include overnight or weekend trips.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field as defined in the essential duties.
• Over 5 years of experience in a customer-facing sales role within the medical, healthcare, or technical sectors.
• At least 1 year of experience in a leadership position.
• Valid driver’s license with no suspended, revoked, surrendered, or invalid status.
• No more than two moving violations, events, or accidents in the past 36 months.
• No alcohol or drug-related vehicle incidents within the last 36 months.
• No unacceptable liability results from the Motor Vehicle Report check.
• Ability to meet healthcare facility access requirements, including vaccination or mask mandates.
• Capability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Preferred: Experience in selling to or leading sales teams in primary care physician offices or OB/GYN practices.
• Preferred: Experience in a sales leadership role.
• Preferred: Willingness to relocate.
