Change and Release Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Oversee the full end-to-end operational management of Change and Release Management processes within ServiceNow.

• Independently assess change risks, identify suitable approval processes, and ensure Change Records include necessary Computer System Validation (CSV) evidence.

• Strategize, coordinate, and implement intricate release schedules involving platform configuration, custom integrations, and vendor-driven updates.

• Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.

• Represent the platform in high-level, cross-departmental governance discussions with internal leaders and executive stakeholders.

• Implement ITIL best practices across Change, Release, Incident, and Problem management processes in ServiceNow.

• Guarantee minimal disruption to production environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of comprehensive IT/ITS Management experience.

• At least 5 years of direct, hands-on experience in leading ServiceNow Change and Release Management with proven solo ownership.

• Documented success in managing change controls within validated (GxP) IT environments.

• Strong comprehension of audit trail requirements and validation evidence.

• Extensive knowledge of ITIL frameworks; ITIL v4 certification is highly preferred.

• Clear understanding of the intersection between Change & Release and Incident & Problem management.

• Capability to independently evaluate technical change risks and establish appropriate governance pathways without operational escalation.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Confidence in managing executive stakeholders and leading cross-functional conversations.
