Retail Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Coach, mentor, and motivate a team of Retail Coverage Merchandisers to surpass client expectations in merchandising, shelving, and sales execution.

• Offer daily strategic guidance to optimize sales opportunities and assist the team in recognizing best practices and in-store selling prospects.

• Perform regular audits and provide actionable feedback to ensure superior execution quality.

• Establish strong partnerships with retail associates through consistent communication.

• Collaborate with Retail Directors and internal stakeholders to synchronize key initiatives.

• Act as a subject matter expert on Acosta’s retail systems.

• Train team members using Acosta University and other resources to improve in-store performance.

• Create selling materials for retail meetings.

• Carry out bi-quarterly evaluations to foster team development.

• Undertake additional assigned duties, including fulfilling physical requirements and maintaining a valid driver’s license for travel.

• Proficiency in retail systems and tools to enhance efficiency and execution.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite—Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as necessary.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and sales capabilities.

• Comfortable delivering presentations to diverse audiences and adept at addressing questions with confidence.
