Retail ERP Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the existing NCR Power HQ environment and system architecture to assess readiness for consolidation.

• Suggest and implement configuration modifications to unify multiple business units under a single Power HQ instance.

• Set up and manage items, vendors, and merchandising hierarchies.

• Plan and carry out the migration of data from the legacy ERP system into Power HQ.

• Review and adjust integrations with POS, finance, ecommerce, and vendor EDI systems.

• Identify reconfiguration requirements for the unified Power HQ environment.

• Collaborate with technology and program leadership while utilizing internal development resources.

• Provide practical functional and technical expertise for decisions related to system design, migration, and implementation.

• Support a client ERP consolidation project from the assessment phase through to implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with NCR Power HQ and/or Retalix HQ, focusing on system configuration and implementation.

• Strong knowledge of retail merchandising processes, including the setup of items, vendors, and merchandising hierarchies.

• Experience with ERP data migration, covering mapping, conversion, and validation.

• Background in assessing and modifying integrations with downstream systems, such as POS, finance, ecommerce, and vendor EDI.

• Experience evaluating an existing ERP environment and pinpointing necessary configuration or design modifications.

• Proven track record of consolidating multiple business units or banners onto a single ERP instance and/or leading significant ERP migration or transformation efforts.

• Ability to collaborate across functional and technical domains, working effectively with business, technology, and program leadership.

• Comfortable offering hands-on expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from initial assessment and solution design to migration and implementation.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Capable of working on a W-2 basis, not 1099 or corp-to-corp.

• Willing to commit to a 40-hour work week.

• Requested experience range in application: 1–3, 4–6, or 7+ years of NCR Power HQ experience.
