This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Lead and oversee the Retail Coverage Merchandiser and Lead Merchandiser teams within the designated geographic area.
• Conduct interviews and hire candidates; facilitate the onboarding and training of new associates.
• Manage performance evaluations and career development, address conflicts and personnel issues, and provide coaching and support.
• Cultivate and maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s business model, clients, customer expectations, and operational processes.
• Attend meetings and manage administrative duties, including investigations, compliance reports, emails, escalations, and HR documentation.
• Ensure assigned tasks are completed promptly and yield high-quality results.
• Review project timelines and confirm that supporting documentation is precise and up-to-date.
• Delegate tasks, monitor progress, audit work, resolve inquiries, troubleshoot issues, reallocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Enhance selling effectiveness in designated territories and identify training and process improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with store staff and the team to achieve merchandising excellence.
• Discuss schedules and modifications, meet objectives, and foster effective working relationships.
• Notify management about unsafe actions or conditions.
• Ensure adherence to company policies regarding equipment maintenance, expense reporting, and activity reporting guidelines.
• Communicate territory responsibilities and retail priorities through reporting systems and technology.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Some college education with prior management or supervisory experience and a minimum of 2+ years in the industry.
• Previous experience as a sales agent, in retail, customer service, or reset responsibilities.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, decision-making, leadership, and communication abilities.
• Self-motivated individual with a keen attention to detail.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing work environments.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Capability to drive a vehicle for extended periods.
• Ability to sit for prolonged durations, typically 6+ hours per day.
• Proficient in using a computer, including keyboard and mouse, for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and transport items generally weighing over 20 pounds.
• Occasional ability to reach, bend, or stoop.
• Ability to maintain focus and attention during long periods of desk work.
• Capability to follow clear instructions.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions consistently throughout the day.
