This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
β’ Oversee project management and organization related to retail shop fit-outs, new store constructions, renovations, updates, closures, and maintenance.
β’ Manage Capital Expenditures (CapEx), prepare estimates, verify actual project costs, and update CapEx forecasts.
β’ Collaborate with Retailers, Shop & Space Planning, Real Estate Leasing, and Finance to plan and execute project schedules.
β’ Maintain and enhance project status and CapEx reporting.
β’ Assist the retail team in interpreting construction information that impacts the business.
β’ Provide hands-on support and installation during shop openings, renovations, updates, and closures.
β’ Evaluate business needs and offer forward-thinking insights.
β’ Optimize reporting processes for both internal and external users.
β’ Offer project-specific assistance to Retailers, store teams, Shop and Space Planning, Property/Leasing, and Finance.
β’ Stay informed about products, design methodologies, and merchandising to enhance sales and customer service.
β’ Collaborate with SSP designers to successfully deliver projects.
β’ Ensure exceptional customer service and perform additional duties as needed.
β’ Over 5 years of relevant experience in retail construction and project management, with a focus on budget management in the US.
β’ Proven experience in a project lead capacity.
β’ Strong skills in budget analysis and management.
β’ Experience with phased construction projects in both new and existing retail establishments.
β’ Practical experience in managing design and construction processes.
β’ Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, plumbing (M.E.P.), architectural, and structural plans.
β’ Capability to assist with and install company furniture while understanding the components of retail spaces.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, collaborate, and handle competing priorities.
β’ Willingness to work extra hours as necessary.
β’ Must be located in the United States.
β’ Must be able to travel domestically and internationally; a valid passport is required.
β’ Preferred: Familiarity with Concur, CAD, and Google Suite.
β’ Preferred: PMP and LEED certifications.
