Respiratory Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Offer clinical supervision and direction to Certified Medical Assistants.

• Oversee and assist patients utilizing Advanced BiPAP ST, AVAPS, IVAPS, ASV.

• Support CPAP patients with unique requirements.

• Suggest modifications to PAP settings and generate orders in electronic medical records.

• Educate and mentor patients on the use and maintenance of CPAP devices.

• Recognize and resolve challenges to compliance for patients using advanced PAP machines.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers and escalate any issues as necessary.

• Organize and procure CPAP supplies for advanced PAP machines.

• Ensure accurate patient documentation and remain updated on respiratory therapy practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Respiratory Therapists (RT) license.

• At least 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.

• Familiarity with respiratory therapy equipment and procedures.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Capacity to work efficiently within a team setting.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Current BLS certification.
