Residential Remodeling Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Generate quantity takeoffs and comprehensive cost estimates based on architectural plans and specifications.

• Support budgeting and preconstruction strategies.

• Manage subcontractor bid requests and pricing inquiries.

• Evaluate drawings, finish schedules, and other project documentation.

• Revise estimates and handle updates or change orders as needed.

• Keep estimating data updated in JobTread or comparable construction management software.

• Aid in scope development and project cost analysis.

• Collaborate remotely with project managers and leadership based in the U.S.

• Create precise and well-structured estimates.

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with the team.

• Ensure delivery of work with minimal errors or gaps in scope.

• Continuously enhance estimating processes and workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in construction estimating, quantity takeoffs, or preconstruction activities.

• Familiarity with JobTread, Buildertrend, Procore, CoConstruct, or similar construction management software.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and possess strong organizational abilities.

• Capability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately.

• Exceptional written and spoken English language skills.

• Keen attention to detail with a strong commitment to follow-through.

• Access to reliable high-speed internet and a professional home office setup.

• Willingness to work overlapping hours with U.S. business hours.

• Experience in luxury residential or high-end remodeling is preferred.

• Background in managing change orders.

• Knowledge of material procurement or purchasing support.

• Experience in project coordination or as an Assistant Project Manager.

• Prior remote work experience for a U.S.-based construction company is essential.
