• Ensure transparent, auditable estimating processes and communicate progress, inquiries, and uncertainties promptly.
• Facilitate accurate transitions from estimating to project delivery.
• Manage cost libraries and pricing models, review estimate-to-actual results, and enhance digital, automated, and AI-driven estimating workflows.

• Practical knowledge of fabrication and installation processes, including cutting, folding, welding, machining, finishing, assembly, access, sequencing, labor, and logistics.
• Excellent commercial judgment and verification discipline, with the ability to recognize scope gaps, buildability issues, and tender risks.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self-motivated and responsible, capable of managing priorities, clarifying estimating logic, and raising concerns promptly.
• Experience working alongside project managers, designers, production teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Hands-on estimating experience as a contractor or subcontractor for fabrication and installation packages.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu; PlanSwift, CostX, AutoCAD, Revit, or ERP systems like Ostendo is a plus.
• Experience in pricing projects within the New Zealand or Australian construction markets is preferred.
• Previous involvement in commercial, infrastructure, corrections, high-security, or data center projects is desirable.
• Interest in process automation, digital estimating, and the practical application of AI tools is preferred.
• Must disclose any ongoing roles or client engagements.
• This engagement should be reflected on your LinkedIn profile.
• Enjoy 100% remote work from home.
• Employment through an Employer of Record (EOR) arrangement.
• Work an 8-hour shift within the 7:00 AM–8:00 PM New Zealand time frame, Monday to Friday.
