Resident Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with enterprise clients as a reliable technical advisor.

• Comprehend customer business and technical needs and convert them into scalable data architectures.

• Design and execute contemporary Lakehouse / Data + AI architectures utilizing Databricks.

• Develop and lead POCs, technical workshops, and architecture demonstrations.

• Engage extensively with Apache Spark / PySpark, SQL, and Databricks.

• Create scalable data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines.

• Leverage Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Databricks platform functionalities.

• Assist in data migration and modernization efforts.

• Integrate Databricks with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Diagnose performance, scalability, reliability, and data pipeline challenges.

• Collaborate with customer engineering, data science, architecture, and leadership teams.

• Offer technical recommendations concerning data engineering, analytics, ML/AI, and cloud architecture.

• Develop reference architectures, technical documentation, and implementation guidance.

• Facilitate production deployment and the adoption of Databricks solutions.

• Conduct technical workshops, enablement sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Databricks.

• Proficient in Apache Spark / PySpark.

• Strong SQL skills.

• Solid foundation in Data Engineering principles.

• Experience in designing data pipelines and data platforms.

• Familiarity with Lakehouse / Data Warehouse / Big Data architecture.

• Experience with at least one cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Strong background in customer-facing roles and consulting.

• Experience in architecture and design.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Essential skills: Data Engineering, Python, Solution Architecture.

• Preferred skills: SQL, Azure, Databricks.

• Associate-level seniority required.
