Resident Accounts Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily operations and financial activities for a portfolio of properties.

• Collect and record rent and other charges in accordance with state and local regulations.

• Review monthly billing schedules.

• Implement collection strategies to maintain delinquency rates below 1%.

• Monitor and address bad debt using AI tools and/or third-party collection agencies.

• Prepare notices, engage with residents and guarantors, and file evictions electronically when possible.

• Manage LEAP or similar guarantor waiver accounts, submit claims, and track payments to vendors.

• Complete pre-close and AME checklists.

• Conduct monthly reconciliation of damage liability waiver insurance.

• Post charges related to quarterly inspections and move-outs.

• Prepare Final Move Out statements and quarterly notifications.

• Collaborate closely with collection agencies.

• Attend regular meetings with Regional and Property Managers to discuss portfolio financial performance.

• Assist with resolving resident account-related customer care issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in an Assistant Manager or Bookkeeper position within the property management sector.

• Proficient in Entrata.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

• Strong communication abilities that encourage connection, teamwork, and productivity.

• Capability to instill a respectful sense of urgency regarding rent collections.

• Exceptional attention to detail and robust organizational skills.

• Experience in recovering delinquent rent and post-move-out charges.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proper grammar and punctuation.

• Above-average negotiation abilities.

• Aptitude for resolving customer issues to completion.

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
