This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Deliver extensive administrative, technical, and project coordination assistance for NASA’s SENSE contract.
• Execute daily operational tasks assigned within the Chief Systems Engineering Organization.
• Oversee the agendas and logistics for Development Department meetings, including arrangements for conference facilities and teleconferences.
• Facilitate joint meetings with NASA, the SENSE program, and other Peraton civil space initiatives.
• Document, organize, and monitor meeting actions, recommendations, decisions, and dissenting opinions until resolution.
• Coordinate the creation and review of directives that capture decisions made.
• Provide updates on agenda items, outstanding actions, and directives.
• Maintain electronic records of presentations, action closures, and recommendations.
• Identify, control, and manage program documentation while supporting both internal and external audits.
• Offer configuration management assistance, including document preparation, process editing, data entry, export control, audits, metrics, and database management.
• Write, review, and edit intricate written and graphical technical documents.
• Ensure systematic document labeling and the release of electronic documentation.
• Manage the SENSE Development Department's document library, SharePoint pages, lists, and other web resources.
• Create and maintain distribution lists and disseminate deliverables and documents.
• Research program support databases to generate reports.
• Provide support in document preparation, calendar management, office management, travel, expense reporting, purchasing, PCard, and secretarial tasks.
• Assist in achieving financial, delivery, and contractual performance objectives.
• Track project progress and facilitate problem-solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
• Coordinate with resource managers/supervisors to secure necessary documentation reviews and approvals.
• Aid in the preparation of project presentations.
• Carry out vendor management and coordination tasks as required.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• A degree in business management, finance, accounting, or a related field, with one of the following experience alternatives: a BS/BA degree with 2 years’ experience; an AS/AA degree with 4 years’ experience; or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• A minimum of 2 years of project management or finance support experience.
• At least 2 years of experience collaborating on cross-functional teams.
• A minimum of 2 years of proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
• Familiarity with SharePoint and Google Workspace.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen and provide proof of citizenship.
• Preferred: experience in the civil space sector or a related industry.
• Preferred: experience managing calendars for technical and management teams.
• Preferred: experience in organizing technical reviews and meetings, as well as preparing detailed minutes for leadership.
• Preferred: experience with AI tools.
