Research & Business Intelligence Analyst

📋 Description

• Examine and assess analytical documents, research materials, spreadsheets, presentations, and professional deliverables for quality, precision, relevance, and logical reasoning.

• Analyze data-driven conclusions, research outcomes, reports, and supporting documentation.

• Deliver clear, structured, succinct, and actionable written feedback.

• Review research materials, analytical reports, and accompanying documentation for accuracy and thoroughness.

• Evaluate assumptions, methodologies, comparisons, conclusions, findings, recommendations, and their business significance.

• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, analytical errors, misleading comparisons, absent information, calculation issues, weak assumptions, incomplete analyses, and unsupported assertions.

• Assess business intelligence reports, dashboards, performance indicators, trends, metrics, and analytical outputs.

• Review market, customer, competitor, and business trend research.

• Evaluate both quantitative and qualitative data across various assignments.

• Review Excel spreadsheets, including calculations, tables, formulas, assumptions, and supporting information.

• Review Word documents and PowerPoint presentations, including analytical narratives, research findings, charts, and supporting data.

• Assess assigned work products against established quality standards and project criteria.

• Differentiate significant concerns from minor editorial matters and apply evaluation standards consistently across tasks.

• Operate independently on unfamiliar topics.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher is required.

• A minimum of 2+ years of pertinent professional experience in analytics, research, business intelligence, market research, insights, or a closely related area.

• Prior experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Research Analyst, Market Research Analyst, Insights Analyst, or a similar role.

• Strong analytical and research capabilities.

• Exceptional ability to interpret both quantitative and qualitative data.

• Proficient document-analysis and review skills.

• Excellent written communication abilities.

• High attention to detail and the capacity to adhere to structured guidelines.

• Strong command of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Comfortable reviewing a variety of analytical and research outputs.

• Capable of working independently and providing accurate professional feedback.

• Applicants must reside in the United States, Europe, United Kingdom, or Canada.

• Work must be conducted without utilizing confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, institution, or other third party.
