Requirements Engineer – Banking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Transform regulatory policy updates into concise business requirements and functional specifications for effective solution design and delivery.

• Develop and execute roadmaps aimed at solution development and implementation.

• Provide timelines, milestones, and status updates to senior management, with or without the involvement of a Product Owner.

• Conduct strategic discussions independently.

• Collaborate with project management, software engineering, and vendors to bridge business divisions and solution providers.

• Identify, implement, and sustain solutions.

• Document requirements, processes, and controls using Confluence and Jira.

• Take full ownership of end-to-end delivery in the capacity of a Business Analyst.

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog effectively.

• Assist in SIT/UAT and pre-go-live change activities.

• Assume responsibility for resolving production issues through coordinated efforts.

• Strong understanding of financial services.

• Ability to articulate regulatory policy changes into clear business requirements and functional specifications.

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable role.

• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking capabilities.

• Proficient in converting complex topics into clear, structured requirements and solutions.

• Ability to work independently and proactively take initiative.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Experience engaging with senior management in international settings.

• Ownership mentality with a strong focus on delivery.

• Ability to operate under pressure and drive topics from inception to production.

• Solid working knowledge of Agile methodologies.

• Strong practical skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
