This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Coordinate activities between engineering teams and subcontractors.
β’ Collaborate closely with program management and customer representatives.
β’ Direct technical performance and ensure adherence to schedule for the Radar System Replacement program.
β’ Offer guidance and support for planning and installation efforts concerning updated radar infrastructure for both domestic and international customers.
β’ Maintain the RSR System Level Implementation Plan and manage the submission and approval process for Site-Specific Implementation Plans.
β’ Ensure that SSIPs align with program requirements, logistical and operational needs, as well as RTX and Government standards.
β’ Convert subcontractor site survey results into actionable closure plans to facilitate timely installation and execution.
β’ Collaborate with subcontractor and customer/Government personnel to produce detailed ATS equipment plans, covering installation, testing, and certification.
β’ Lead the coordination of subcontractor site preparation, which includes infrastructure for power, structure, and environmental readiness, ensuring site preparedness.
β’ Oversee logistics at the site, including access, tools, materials, and delivery of equipment.
β’ Resolve logistical challenges and guarantee that resources are available and prepared on schedule.
β’ Direct and ensure subcontractor quality performance in the maintenance and sustainment of installed radar infrastructure.
β’ Manage second-level engineering responses to anomalies in deployed equipment.
β’ Assist the program chief engineer in overseeing RTX engineering functions, ensuring alignment with Government authorization, budget, and schedule.
β’ Aid in the development and delivery workflow of Government CDRLs.
β’ A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.
β’ U.S. citizenship is mandatory; only U.S. citizens can access information related to these programs/contracts.
β’ Experience in project management.
β’ Background in site preparation activities, including infrastructure readiness (power, structure, environment, etc.).
β’ Proficient in interpreting site surveys and translating findings into actionable strategies.
β’ Experience in managing and/or executing surveillance radar system upgrades, repairs, and installations.
β’ Familiarity with logistics related to radar system upgrades, repairs, and installations.
β’ Experience coordinating program performance tasks with U.S. Government personnel or similar entities.
β’ Proven track record of reporting program performance to senior leadership within the U.S. Government.
β’ Experience supervising multiple engineering disciplines on a U.S. Government program.
β’ Responsible for overseeing the performance of engineering personnel on a U.S. Government program.
β’ Flexible workweeks: 9/80A, 5/40.
