This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer technical expertise and business acumen to develop innovative environmental solutions.
• Oversee consulting projects and environmental initiatives.
• Act as the main liaison for clients and stakeholders.
• Provide consistent updates regarding project progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with environmental engineers, geologists, technicians, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Clearly convey complex technical information to clients and stakeholders.
• Work with regulatory agencies to secure approvals, permits, and closure documentation.
• Compile site investigation, risk assessment, remedial action, progress, and closure reports.
• Stay updated on current environmental regulations and guidelines.
• Create and execute remediation plans based on site evaluations and risk assessments.
• Design and supervise remediation strategies, including excavation, soil vapor extraction, groundwater treatment, and in-situ bioremediation.
• Ensure adherence to regulations, guidelines, and permits throughout the remediation process.
• Provide technical assistance for environmental or energy-related insurance claims.
• Manage and conduct site investigations to identify contamination sources and assess risks.
• Gather and analyze soil, groundwater, and other environmental samples.
• Perform data interpretation, risk assessment, and modeling.
• Implement quality control and assurance measures.
• Conduct audits and evaluations of project activities.
• Identify and promptly resolve any deviations or discrepancies in project execution.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the environmental sector.
• Current PE or PG license is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in conducting site investigations, remediation, and third-party evaluations.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, guidelines, and best practices pertaining to contaminated site cleanup.
• Outstanding project management capabilities, including task prioritization, deadline achievement, and simultaneous project management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with environmental sampling techniques and laboratory analysis methods.
• Experience in managing consulting assignments.
• Proficient in analyzing and communicating information.
• Comprehensive expertise in all aspects of project management.
• Experience in providing technical support for environmental or energy-related insurance claims.
• Understanding of insurance terminology and policy language.
• Experience in assessing the sources and timing of pollution events.
• Broad experience in environmental consulting.
• Exceptional technical writing abilities.
• Knowledge of standard protocols and regulations for environmental sample analysis.
