Reporting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and enhance interactive, production-ready dashboards and reports utilizing Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to establish KPI metrics and reporting needs.

• Collaborate with growth, sales, and account management teams to create mockups, proof-of-concept dashboards, and data visual narratives for new client presentations.

• Provide quick-turnaround visual concepts that simplify complex capabilities into easily digestible value propositions for external clients.

• Oversee dashboard data models, automated refresh schedules, and row-level security for both executive and operational dashboards.

• Assist in quality assurance to detect data discrepancies and work in conjunction with Data Engineering to address underlying source problems.

• Develop and manage a centralized data dictionary, KPI definition log, and technical documentation for all business reports.

• Uphold standardized guidelines for dashboard design, naming conventions, and data validation protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting positions.

• Practical experience in creating dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

• Proven track record of academic and/or professional success.

• Excellent attention to UI/UX design, alignment, color consistency, and overall readability across dashboards.

• Experience with data analysis, including proficiency in spreadsheet (Excel) and SQL platforms.

• Ability to manage multiple projects across various clients and stakeholders effectively.

• Knowledge of user personas to design dashboards that are intuitive and easily adopted by non-technical users.

• Familiarity with relational databases or cloud-based data warehouses.
