This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Establish the vision, strategic direction, developmental roadmaps, and success metrics for the Business Intelligence & Analytics organization.
• Provide guidance to leadership and mentor the BIA team.
• Modernize approaches to Business Intelligence and take ownership of strategic analytics.
• Propel automation and deliver field analytics through tools such as PowerBI, Executive Console, SalesAI Assistant, and additional platforms.
• Lead a team of Business Analysts, AI Engineers, and Data Scientists.
• Develop the analytical framework for the Americas and ensure the necessary data infrastructure for insights.
• Create and empower a team skilled in data modeling, design, and impactful visualization production.
• Utilize AI capabilities to automate processes, provide insights, and enhance the salesforce's effectiveness.
• Communicate the business direction and outcomes across product business units and executive leadership teams.
• Foster relationships with Finance, CETO, Revenue Intelligence, Business Operations, and other Cisco divisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business strengths and opportunities, aligning actions accordingly.
• Report directly to the Senior Director of Strategy and Planning.
• Over 12 years of experience in Sales Business Intelligence & Analytics and Operations.
• Strong understanding of business dynamics.
• Minimum of a BA/BS degree; an MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Proficient in using Business Intelligence visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView, Einstein Analytics, and Looker.
• Experience in creating and automating enterprise-scale dashboards.
• Familiarity with Generative AI is preferred.
• Extensive development experience with PowerBI, Tableau, and/or other Business Intelligence tools.
• Knowledge of advanced SQL, Python, DAX, or other BI languages.
• Experience in developing data models and orchestrating data from various sources.
• Understanding of Americas territory design, sales structure, business entities/products, and overall hierarchy.
• Ability to capture stakeholder business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with Cisco's data systems, including SAP HANA, Snowflake, and Teradata.
• Knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce and Gong.
• Understanding of forecasting systems including NGF.
• Awareness of AI and automation tools like Circuit, Cursor, Claude, and Git.
• Proven experience in leading large, cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Agile or similar project management methodologies is preferred.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Experience in producing executive-level content and engaging in executive-level discussions.
• Candidates must be based in the East/Central Region.
