IFRS Reporting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Conduct monthly intercompany reconciliations among Group entities.

• Examine intercompany discrepancies, determine root causes, and collaborate with local Finance teams for resolution.

• Oversee outstanding intercompany balances and engage with stakeholders for follow-up.

• Assist with intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments.

• Validate the completeness and accuracy of intercompany data.

• Prepare and uphold standardized Group IFRS reporting packages.

• Review reporting packages for completeness, consistency, and compliance with IFRS standards.

• Aid in the preparation of consolidated financial information and reporting schedules.

• Analyze financial data and investigate any unusual movements or discrepancies.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual Group reporting initiatives.

• Maintain mappings from local to Group Chart of Accounts.

• Identify and rectify any inconsistencies in mappings.

• Facilitate the transformation of local GAAP financial data to IFRS standards.

• Prepare or coordinate IFRS adjustments while performing validation and reconciliation checks.

• Maintain supporting documentation for IFRS transformation adjustments.

• Assist Group and local statutory audits by providing financial information, reconciliations, schedules, and documentation.

• Coordinate audit requests with local Finance teams and follow up on any outstanding queries.

• Contribute to the standardization and ongoing improvement of reporting processes, templates, controls, and documentation.

• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and enhance reporting and reconciliation processes.

• Support the development of reporting guidelines and process documentation.

• Engage in Finance transformation and reporting enhancement projects.

• Collaborate with Group Finance, local Finance teams, auditors, and other stakeholders.

• Provide guidance on reporting requirements, templates, deadlines, and data quality expectations.

• Communicate reporting issues, discrepancies, and risks while supporting timely resolutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

• 2–3+ years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting, management reporting, or a comparable finance role.

• Strong understanding of IFRS with practical experience in applying IFRS standards.

• Experience with Group reporting, consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and eliminations is a significant advantage.

• Proficient in Excel, confident when working with financial data and large datasets.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.

• Capability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.

• Organized and structured work approach, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Good communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with Finance teams across various countries and entities.

• Experience in an international or multi-entity organization would be advantageous.

• Big 4 or audit experience is a plus.

• Prior experience supporting external or statutory audits would be beneficial.

• Familiarity with financial consolidation or reporting systems would be advantageous.

• Proficient working proficiency in English (both spoken and written).

• Fluent in Ukrainian.
