This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Utilize analytical techniques, methods, and procedures to address intricate challenges.
β’ Conduct analysis and design calculations to facilitate the operation of reactor cores in reload licensing and cycle management.
β’ Prepare and deliver technical information to both internal and external stakeholders.
β’ Document and convey findings from the technical data produced.
β’ Maintain or surpass baseline project schedules and budgets while delivering nuclear fuel reload engineering outputs.
β’ Foster information sharing and encourage open communication, effectively collaborating within a matrixed team environment.
β’ Ensure that work is executed with a high level of quality, adhering to NRC regulations, customer specifications, and business quality assurance standards.
β’ Collaborate with Commercial Account Managers (CAMs), interact with customer technical teams, and oversee reload projects within the Fuels organization.
β’ Participate in ongoing professional development.
β’ Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent in engineering, physics, or another scientific discipline from an accredited institution.
β’ Master of Science Degree in Nuclear Engineering.
β’ Familiarity with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) technology.
β’ Experience with BWR core simulation and the application of 3-Dimensional neutron kinetics codes.
β’ Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C#.
β’ Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability for outcomes.
β’ Exceptional interpersonal and leadership abilities.
β’ Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
