Reload and Core Management Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize analytical methods, procedures, and techniques to address intricate problems.

• Perform analysis and design calculations that support the operation of reactor cores in reload licensing and cycle management.

• Prepare and deliver technical data presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Document and relay results of technical data analysis.

• Maintain or surpass baseline project schedules and costs for nuclear fuel reload engineering deliverables.

• Foster information sharing and encourage open communication within a matrixed team environment.

• Ensure that high-quality work adheres to NRC regulations, customer specifications, and business quality assurance standards.

• Collaborate with Commercial Account Managers, interact with customer technical personnel, and oversee reload projects throughout the Fuels organization.

• Participate in ongoing professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent in engineering, physics, or another scientific discipline from an accredited institution.

• A Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering is preferred.

• Experience with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) technology is advantageous.

• Familiarity with BWR core simulators and 3-Dimensional neutron kinetics codes is preferred.

• Programming skills in Python or C# are desirable.

• Detail-oriented and responsible for delivering results.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
