This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +3 more states.
• Cultivate strategic, mutually advantageous relationships with advisors, TPAs, plan sponsors, and the John Hancock team.
• Establish yourself as a leader in retirement planning within the region and a source of innovative solutions for advisors.
• Ensure plan retention while contributing to profitable growth.
• Identify and utilize the optimal Manulife John Hancock tools and resources to aid intermediaries in their ongoing service commitments.
• Collaborate with intermediaries to guarantee high-quality ongoing service related to plan design, investment selection, and ERISA compliance.
• Recognize plans that are up for RFP, facing competitive challenges, or experiencing service-quality issues, and execute retention strategies.
• Implement asset maximization and retention tactics to enhance participation, deferral rates, and account consolidation.
• Seek opportunities during interactions with advisors.
• Set clear expectations for ongoing service and act as a primary point of contact.
• Conduct plan reviews and business planning sessions.
• Identify and resolve advisor or sponsor concerns and take necessary corrective actions.
• Develop, maintain, and execute a territory business plan focused on optimizing retention and revenue growth.
• Assist advisors in expanding their business portfolios.
• Schedule meetings with high-value advisors to support them in achieving their objectives.
• Serve as a vital member of a regional team to enhance retirement plan retention, revenue growth, and asset growth through informed and loyal advisors, sponsors, and participants.
• Manage a portfolio of clients with $15M–$50M in AUM across Corporate, DC, DB, and NQ markets.
• Three to five years of relevant experience.
• Life insurance and variable licenses as required for the territory.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63, or the ability to obtain them within 6 months of hire.
• Industry designations such as AIF, APA, APR, ChFC, CLU, CEBS, CFA, CFP, QKA, QPA, QPFC, or RIA are advantageous.
• Preferred superior business insight regarding retirement plan products, the industry, and the competitive landscape.
