This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, pursue, and nurture new client relationships.
• Grow existing enterprise accounts through both hunting and farming strategies.
• Perform consultative discovery to gain a comprehensive understanding of client needs.
• Collaborate with pre-sales engineering teams to develop customized, multi-vendor solutions.
• Navigate intricate vendor relationships and manufacturer partner programs.
• Act in the best interest of clients as a fiduciary solution seller.
• Keep meticulous records in the CRM system.
• Oversee complex multi-line quoting processes.
• Coordinate responses to RFPs and RFIs.
• Work together with legal, finance, support, and logistics teams.
• Present to CIOs, CTOs, research directors, and procurement leaders.
• Convert complex technical architectures into strategic business value.
• Manage lengthy sales cycles and develop a personal book of business.
• Over 5 years of experience carrying a sales quota.
• Demonstrated success in outside enterprise sales, specifically selling data-center-focused hardware, software, and IT professional services.
• Proven ability to develop accounts from the ground up, consistently achieving $500k to $1M+ in annual gross margin.
• Strong foundational knowledge of enterprise IT concepts such as data storage, backup/DR, networking, security, HPC, and AI/ML.
• Keen desire to learn new technologies.
• Bachelor's degree (STEM preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Must currently possess, or soon obtain, authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and executive presentation abilities.
• Skillful in articulating complex financial and technical trade-offs.
• Capable of thriving in a remote, field-based setting while managing supply chain challenges and multi-month deal cycles.
